Soooo.....It's a misdemeanor when "our side" does it but a felony when "your side" does it?  --Anonymous Friend of This Blogger, commenting on the tribalism of political party supporters

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots Game

Fun Facts:

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots first entered the market in 1964.

The colors associated with US political parties developed from a network newscasting choice.  In the 1976 presidential elections, NBC used red for the Democrats 🫏 and blue for the Republicans 🐘.  (In the UK, red is still the color [or "colour" 😉] for Labour, the more liberal party, and blue is the color for the Conservative Tories.  This is sort of a global custom.)

The colors were reversed and standardized in the US with the 2000 presidential election.
