Mat 7:8 "For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
I was thinking more of people who assume, "God helps those who help themselves" is an axiom from the Bible. It is not. This is a nice verse, but really speaks more to God helping us than us helping ourselves. And that (in many forms) gets to the heart of Christianity.
